“The complicated work was done this year, regardless of the roles. This year we had to start from scratch and so I was mainly referring to this“.
On the offensive performance, which increased in the second round: “During the Christmas period we introduced some concepts that we were unable to train consistently. At the start of the championship we couldn’t train better and many players weren’t at their best. I don’t ask the attackers to come towards me, Bolzicco makes the team move up, protects the ball, Rosseti attacks the depth more. They can play together based on their characteristics, they help wingers and half forwards to fit in to score goals. I hope their moment in front of goal can come“.
On the match against Locri: “We face a team in need of points, we must not make a mistake in our approach and determination. We want to get to the playoffs as best we can and we get there well if we win. For a thousand reasons we must try to score as many points as possible“.
Team dealing with a virus that characterized the week: “It was a particular week because we had many players with the virus, some stayed out all week. Engineers and Rana have had this virus and are unlikely to be there. Martiner did not train with the team and therefore we will have problems with the training“.
