Colleferro. The 4 arrested for the school canteen contract are all free. The Court of Freedom of Rome annulled the order of the investigating judge of Velletri

COLLEFERRO – Following the hearing which was held yesterday, 19 March, at the Section for the Review of Measures Restrictive to Personal Freedom of the Court of Rome (commonly called Court of Liberty), the judges annulled the order of the investigating judge of the Court of Velletri which had ordered the precautionary measure of house arrest against members of the judging commission of the tender for the awarding of school canteen services for the schools of the childhood and primary schools of the Municipality of Colleferro.

According to what was ordered by the judges, the suspects will now be able to return to the workplace, while the judicial proceedings will follow their course.

From a formal point of view, the Public Prosecutor will now formulate (or not) the request for committal to trial and the Judge of the Preliminary Hearing will have to express his opinion, with a decree, on whether the request should be accepted or whether there is no place to proceed.

The suspects – Antonella Pacella and Mauro Casinelli (employees of the Municipality of Colleferro) defended by the lawyer. Maurizio Frasacco, Fiorella Fantini defended by the lawyer. Stefano Perica and Laura Cannone defended by the lawyer. Giovambattista Maggiorelli – following the investigation called “Reunion” conducted by the Anti-Tasting and Health Unit of the Capital, they are accused of ideological and material falsity and disturbed freedom of auctions [qui l’articolo •>].

Thus the pool of defense lawyers: «We are happy that the Court of Freedom has recognized, as we argued, the erroneous nature of the arrests. In reality, our clients are unrelated to the alleged crimes…”.
