The personnel of the Perugia State Police, as part of an observation service aimed at combating drug dealing, arrested – in the Strada San Marco area – an Albanian citizen, born in 2003, as he was found in possession of several doses of narcotics such as cocaine. Specifically, while they were engaged in an observation service, the Flying Squad policemen noticed the man hiding something in the vegetation; for this reason, suspicious of the attitude, they decided to proceed with a more in-depth check. Subjected to a search, the operators noticed that the young man had hidden 3 heat-sealed wrappers of a narcotic substance inside his mouth, which later turned out to be cocaine-type. Furthermore, hidden among the vegetation, the police found the keys to the 20-year-old’s apartment, which was also searched with positive results. In fact, inside it, the operators found a precision scale, 4 other wrappers of narcotic substance – with a total weight of 21 grams – which, from the technical investigations of the staff of the Provincial Cabinet of the Scientific Police, turned out to be narcotic type cocaine. Inside a drawer of a piece of furniture, the police also found two car license plates of which the young man was unable to justify his possession. Accompanied to the police station for the ritual activities, the 20-year-old was arrested for the crime of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing and referred to the Judicial Authority for the crime of receiving stolen goods. At the order of the Public Prosecutor he was detained at the Perugia Prison – Capanne, awaiting the validation hearing.
