extended the time for submitting observations

Marsala – There will still be time for citizens to present their observations on the new City Landscape Plan and therefore make it more functional and better for the Marsala community.

This is the result of a meeting held in recent days in Palermo by the President of the City Council Enzo Sturiano and the manager of the Territory and Environment Sector of the Municipality with the regional leaders of the Departments of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identities and of Urban Planning, present at ‘hon. Stefano Pellegrino, supporter of the meeting.

“Following the meeting – specifies President Sturiano – we obtained the possibility of being able to make new observations on the adopted plan. This openness is certainly a positive result that can lead to better consultation even with citizens who have been waiting for years to be able to make their proposals. For this I would like to thank the Hon. for his interest. Stefano Pellegrino, a point of reference for our City and the Region. I have informed the Mayor Massimo Grillo of the situation and already next week the manager Mezzapelle will issue the notice asking citizens to formulate their observations regarding this important urban planning instrument”.

The landscape plan which, according to the law, is preparatory to the approval of the new general master plan, the RNO dello Stagnone plan and other regulations and plans of an urban nature, with its areas of protection: 1, 2 and 3 places constraints on different areas of the entire Marsala area. In particular, the areas most at risk are those 2 and 3 where construction activity would be significantly limited. Hence the need for some changes.
