PESCARA. A 49-year-old man was reported to the police for attempted robbery and a 58-year-old for attempted theft.

The first episode dates back to a few days ago when the employees of a supermarket in the Portanuova area reported the presence of a man who, after having stolen some goods from the shop, had threatened an employee. The man had taken some bottles of spirits and hidden them in a bag. The employees of the business asked him to return what had been removed. But he attempted to gain the exit, passing through an empty cash register, threatening the employees and opening his bag as if he had to remove a blunt instrument. A security guard also intervened, but was unable to calm him down. A police car arrived on site. The officers tracked down and identified the 49-year-old man: he was thus charged with attempted improper robbery.

In the second case, the Volante officers were called to via Raiale where some citizens had noticed movements near an abandoned building. The officers noticed that in fact a man had stolen numerous objects found in the offices of the abandoned factory, and he was walking away on a bicycle. The 58-year-old man was stopped and found in possession of numerous stationery items, collected in a cloth. A complaint was filed against him for attempted theft.
