San Bartolo Park celebrates its first 30 years. For the occasion, the Park Authority organized a convivial lunch, designed to share an important milestone with those who in recent years have learned to love the park and care about its care and sustainable growth, but also to remember its salient moments, thanks to the participation of the protagonists of these six decades. The meeting, scheduled for this Sunday in the former school of Santa Marina Alta, will open at 11.30 with the intervention of Nadia Regnoli, the first president of the Park Authority, who will talk about its origins. To then continue with her successors and with the current president Silvano Leva, who will reveal the ongoing projects. The true protagonist of the park’s history, however, is nature. The closing of the meeting, therefore, will be left to those who have studied and monitored its evolution: the director of the paleontological museum “L. Sorbini” Nicoletta Bedosti, the biologist Laurent Sonet and the agronomist Fabrizio Furlani. Final greetings with the bang of bottles of wine, for a collective toast.
The meeting place will be the arrival point of two treks. The first, of a more historical and artistic nature, will leave at 9am from Pesaro and will reach Santa Marina passing through Strada Bocca del Lupo and includes a visit to the church of San Bartolo and the cloister of the Girolomini convent, with two exceptional guides: Grazia Calegari and Roberta Martufi. The second, more naturalistic, will start at 9am from the Fiorenzuola cemetery and arrive in Santa Marina crossing the cliff and includes the observation and explanation of the migration of birds. Trekking participants will be accompanied by guides back to the starting points at the end of the party in Santa Marina. The arrival at the cars is expected by 3pm.
