TRAPANI. The former city councilor and former mayoral candidate in Trapani, Anna Garuccio, has formally made official her desire to join the Democratic Party.
The announcement was made this morning, in the presence of the regional deputy, Dario Safina, and the municipal secretary of the PD in Trapani, Astrid Di Pasquale, who welcomed her into the party with a floral gift.
“For us – declared the Honorable Dario Safina – it is an important political result, because it is the result of the work we are doing in the area. Anna’s entry into the Democratic Party demonstrates that all the discussions we had in the past were the result of love for the city and not of personal disagreements. I am sure that her experience will contribute to the growth of our community in our city.”
