L’AQUILA – The Prefect of L’Aquila, Giancarlo Di Vincenzo, among the initiatives attributable to the activity of the Safety Table of Avezzano and Marsica, decided to promote, although the phenomenon is not particularly alarming in this provincial territory, a campaign of targeted awareness raising through the wider circulation of an information leaflet on usury and extortion, in order to maintain high attention on the topic from a prevention perspective.
The brochure, entitled “Don’t let yourself be ruined”, was distributed throughout the province through the Mayors of the Municipalities and is aimed at illustrating, as a preventative measure, the seriousness of the phenomenon, the regulatory references, the protection associations , initiatives and activities to combat crimes that are particularly heinous and highly harmful to legality and economic freedom, as well as the dignity of the victims.
