The first flight took off yesterday Brestoperated by Voloteastarting from Olbia Costa Smeralda stopover and the route will run bi-weekly, every Monday and Friday, with a total offer of twenty thousand seats on sale.
With the start of the new route The French destinations available from the Costa Smerlada rise to ten, making it increasingly easier for tourists from beyond the Alps to reach the beaches and resorts of Gallura and all of northern Sardinia. “With today’s inaugural flight to Brest, we have achieved another important result at the Sardinian airport – commented Valeria Rebasti, International Market Director of Volotea -. Sardinia represents a primary market for us and we are thrilled to be able to bring an ever-increasing number of tourists to the island thanks to the many connections available. The flight will be operated exclusively by the low cost company which already connects Olbia airport with 14 cities in the rest of the peninsula, and 14 abroad, including four in Spain and ten in France.
