Perugia, 20 April 2024 – The Carabinieri of the Perugia Fortebraccio station have notified a public establishment, in Corso Garibaldi in Perugia, of the closure pursuant to article 100 of the TULPS, for a period of 15 days, ordered by the Police Commissioner of the Province of Perugia.

The measure was adopted following some disturbances recorded in the last 4 months within and in the immediate vicinity of the public establishment, circumstances which have generated great concern among the traders and citizens residing in the area who, also through a complaint, have reported the uncomfortable situation for the police.

The soldiers of the Carabinieri, who intervened on the occasion of such incidents, considered dangerous for public order and safety, have also ascertained – on at least 6 occasions – that the place is a usual meeting place for people with criminal convictions.

Given the circumstances, the military proceeded to formulate a proposal to suspend the activity, pursuant to art. 100 of the TULPS, to the Provincial Public Security Authority.

Considering the social alarm raised in the community and the contingent situation of danger for the maintenance of public order and safety, the Police Commissioner of the Province of Perugia has ordered by decree the closure of the aforementioned commercial business and the suspension of the license for a period of 15 days pursuant to art. 100 of the TULPS

The police of the Carabinieri carried out the Police Commissioner’s provision and took care of the notification of the documents and the closure of the business.
