Descriptive text here

It is Gianluca Grignani’s concert that conquers the scene today in the Destra Tagliamento, but there is also the rockabilly night and there is no shortage of events dedicated to taste and food and wine.

Among the main songwriters and musicians of his generation, with a thirty-year career and many awards behind him, Grignani will be at the Capitol in Pordenone at 9.30 pm with his new tour “Residui di rock’n roll” and a set list full of hits that have marked the history of Italian music, from “Destinazione Paradiso” to “La mia storia tra le dita”, passing through “The plastic factory”. Accompanying him on stage is the band composed of Salvatore Cafiero (lead guitar and backing vocals), Frè Monti (guitars and backing vocals), Valerio Combass (bass), Luigi Russo (keyboards) and Antonio De Marianis (drums). The Friulian band Radici Amare will open the concert.

At the Astro club in Fontanafredda, the Rockabilly night is coming from 9pm. The Lazy Bones (Marco Di Maggio’s new Friuli band), the Voodoo Devils and David Zellaby’s DJ Set will alternate, with a selection of songs ranging from swing, rockabilly, R’n’R, Doo wop and much more other.

First edition of the Pestith and Fermented Food Festival, today and tomorrow, in Cimolais, to enhance the “pestith”, an ancient culinary tradition linked to the fermentation of the purple collar round turnip. The event, promoted by the Pordenone Slow Food Convivium in collaboration with the Municipality of Cimolais and the local Pro Loco, includes a packed program, tastings prepared by six chefs affiliated with Slow Food, 25 stands with producers, taste workshops and show cooking . Restaurateurs will offer pestith-based menus and a shuttle bus service will facilitate travel throughout the valley.

In Cordenons, again today and tomorrow, “The living room of taste” arrives in Piazza della Vittoria, formerly the Asparagus Fair, promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Udine and Pordenone, dedicated, in addition to asparagus, to products such as strawberry, rainbow trout, hazelnut and beer, including tastings, show cooking, initiatives for the little ones and other moments of in-depth analysis, such as today’s conference, at 4pm, “Do you buy in the dark or read the label first?”, with Barbara Toso.

For books the appointment is at the Meduna shopping center (at the Seminar Libri), at 11am, where “Magic in the Blood” by Mario De Bortoli will be presented, accompanied by the magic tricks of Christophe Nogherot.
