Trento – The Council from the Chamber of Commerce Of Trent unanimously approved the balance for the 2023 financial year, which resulted in charges of 15,849,702 euros and income of 17,943,862 euros. The result is a surplus of 2,094,159, which strengthens the organisation’s capital structure and will allow it to deal with any emergencies – as already happened following the crisis triggered by the pandemic – and plan further, substantial initiatives in favor of the system entrepreneurial Trentino, without questioning its economic solidity.

In the 2023, in a geopolitical and economic context that is anything but comforting, the Chamber of Commerce has implemented a series of initiatives to support and encourage the development of Trentino businesses, implementing, for example, the amount of contributions paid through the publication of specific calls for tenders, supporting digitalisation, training, school-work alternation and organizing promotional activities to adequately enhance the excellence of the territory.

Furthermore, opportunities for in-depth analysis and discussion were offered to companies and trade associations, planning two meetings, called “CamLab – Dialogues on business and innovation”focused on the dynamics that are transforming the world of organizations and on the importance of evolving towards sustainable production systems.


In this regard, again in 2023, the Trento Chamber of Commerce has acquiredthe first Chamber of Commerce in Italy, the certification for full respect of environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.

As regards the aspects relating to the organisation’s sources of financing, the Decree of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy authorized the increase in the annual fee by 20% for the years 2023, 2024 And 2025, which allowed the implementation of the two system projects proposed by the Chamber Council to support the local entrepreneurial fabric and called “The double transition: digital and ecological” and “Job training.

With reference to the inter-institutional context, the collaborationestablished with the Province autonomous of Trent and sanctioned with the signature ofProgram agreement, which during the past year was enriched with a further operational area. This is the need to act jointly to prevent illegal phenomena, linked to organized crime in the economic field, formalized with the inclusion of a new article created ad hoc and aimed at the exchange of knowledge and information on the basis of a structured program of interventions.

Still on the subject of the Program Agreement, work has been intensified on the administrative simplification and dematerialisation of procedures, thanks to the further implementation of the One Stop Shop for productive activities (the so-called SUAP) with other sectors of interest for businesses.
