CITADEL IN BOLZANO TO CLOSE THE SALVATION ACCOUNTS
Five races to the finish line of the B series, and a very open fight for every objective. Venezia, relaunched by the last two consecutive victories, will be on stage on Saturday at 4.15pm on the Lecco pitch, last in the standings but fresh from their home success against Reggiana. Golden opportunity for Vanoli and his team to consolidate their candidacy for one of the first two places in the table, those that guarantee direct promotion: the lagoon players have three points to make up on the very fast Como and eight on leaders Parma, but they can take advantage of the challenge at the home of one of the last in the class and then launch into the last kilometer with the wind at her back.
Very different music at Cittadella, where in addition to the training difficulties (Baldini was out under the knife and so was Frare, with a defense reduced to the bare bones) the match in Bolzano represents a decisive watershed in the race for salvation.
