GALLARATE – He ran over a 45 year old man and his 3 year old daughter and then he fled. Was tracked down in less than two hours the pirate involved in the accident which occurred today, April 19th, around 7pm Piazza Risorgimento in Gallarate.
The accident
From what we have learned so far, behind the wheel of a Citroen C3 there was a man after having hit the father and the little girl at the pedestrian crossing in Via Verdi he ran away without helping them. The police intervened on site Red Cross who transported the two wounded in hospital in Legnano under yellow code. They were conscious and fortunately their conditions were not serious.
The investigations
Investigations began immediately by the local police of Gallarate who, thanks to the video surveillance cameras, managed to trace the vehicle’s license plate and therefore to its owner. His position is under investigation. As well as one complaint for failure to provide assistancerisks the seizure of the vehicle and the withdrawal of driving licence for revocation.
