Padua Marathon and ecological Sunday: roads closed

The list of road closures and bans on the occasion of the Padova Marathon and the ecological Sunday of 21 April 2024

Born on the occasion of the Jubilee of 2000, the Padova Marathon in recent years has established itself as the reference sporting event for the entire territory. The 20243 edition includes the 42.195 km marathon, the 21.097 km half marathon, the Stracittadine of 10, 5 and 1 km, as well as the Expo area and a series of events.

Ecological Sunday is scheduled for April 21st, which includes a traffic ban in the historic center area from 8.30am to 6.30pm. In detail:

ROADS CLOSED ECOLOGICAL SUNDAY PADUA – 21 APRIL 2024

The circulation of motor vehicles and mopeds in the area within the historic center is prohibited, consisting of the portion of the municipal territory with a perimeter characterized by the following passable streets:

  • via Euganea – stretch between Porta San Giovanni and via Orsini,

ROADS CLOSED SUNDAY PADOVA MARATHON – 21 APRIL 2024

Temporary closure to vehicular traffic, Sunday 04/21/2024, in the following road sections affected by the transit of marathon runners with their respective times:

  • from 7.15 am to 9.30 am (start of the marathon) in: viale Nereo Rocco, viale Gino Cappello, viale Del Calcio, via Due Palazzi – stretch between viale Del Calcio and via Montà, via Montà – stretch between via Due Palazzi and the municipal border; except vehicles of the race participants headed to the rest areas of the Organization and of BusItalia Veneto SpA used as a “shuttle service”
  • from 8.00 to 10.30 (marathon transit at the 10th km) in: via Chiesanuova, stretch between the municipal border and via Sette Martiri
  • from 8.00 am to 3.30 pm (Stracittadine departure and final transit phase of the marathon and half marathon) in: via Romana Aponense, via Armistizio, via Vittorio Veneto, stretch between via Armisticio and Isonzo bridge, Isonzo bridge, via Isonzo, via Goito , via Cernaia, piazzale San Giovanni, via Euganea, San Giovanni delle Navi bridge, via Del Vescovado, via Vandelli, piazza Duomo, via Monte di Pietà, piazza Dei Signori, via San Clemente, piazza Dei Frutti, via G.
