Syracuse football RB Juwaun Price enters name in transfer portal

Syracuse, NY — Syracuse backup running back Juwaun Price has entered his name into the transfer portal, according to a source who has access to the portal.

Price’s decision to explore his transfer options was first reported by longtime college football recruiting reporter Mike Farrell.

Price, 5-foot-10 and 208 pounds, played two seasons for Syracuse after transferring from New Mexico State. He carried 47 times for 166 yards last season. He also caught three passes for 38 yards. He has one season of college eligibility remaining.

Syracuse’s LeQuint Allen delivered an excellent performance as the team’s starting running back last season and has eligibility remaining. Freshman early-enrollee Yasin Willis has already gotten rave reviews from teammates and coaches during spring practice and appears the most likely candidate to enter the year as the backup.
