Montefiori: “The fountain in front of the Lia Museum has been removed, the Municipality must explain why”
Descriptive text here

The fountain in the space outside the Lia Museum has been removed and the municipal councilor of the Democratic Party Andrea Montefiori is asking for explanations. The centre-left exponent asked the mayor for clarification with an interpellation.
Montefiori claims that it is “One of the few fountains left in the municipal area. It should be considered that it was used by children, adults, tourists, homeless people and also by pets that many citizens own”.
The councilor hypothesizes that it may have been removed “perhaps due to its partial malfunction” and adds that he would like to know: “The reasons that led the Administration not to carry out the necessary repairs, but rather to remove the small fountain positioned in front of the Amedeo Museum Lia and knowing whether the fountain will be restored or replaced, once again guaranteeing citizens that they can freely benefit from one of the main common goods par excellence, without forcing them to purchase expensive and very polluting plastic bottles”.
