Province of Reggio Emilia » Novellara ring road, agreement approved

Another important step forward for the completion of the Novellara ring road was taken in recent days with the signing – by the president of the Province of Reggio Emilia, Giorgio Zanni – of the decree approving the program agreement signed by Palazzo Allende and Municipality of Novellara which makes the changes to the urban planning instrument necessary for the reprogramming of the work and, therefore, for the long-awaited construction of the last stretch, from the Valle road roundabout to the Sp 5 for Reggiolo.

The decree has come at the end of an in-depth technical-administrative process started by the Province at the request of the Municipality of Novellara, which in recent months also included a moment of public consultation at the Tagliavini Theatre. From next April 24th, all documents relating to the procedure will be filed and published on the websites of the two bodies, as communicated through the Official Bulletin of the Emilia-Romagna Region (Burert).

Thanks to the work carried out in recent months and the fulfillment of these last few weeks, it will then be possible to proceed with the preparation and approval, by both bodies, of the executive project and the start of the expropriation procedure so that the Province can then call – hopefully by the end of the year – the tender for the works on the last section of the ring road.
