Grosseto. On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the Easter Monday bombing, the municipal administration of Grosseto dedicates a commemorative evening which will take place Friday 26 April, in Piazza Duomo, at 9pmwith the participation of civil, military and religious authorities.
The program
After a brief greeting from the institutions, at 9.15pm, A commemorative video of the 1943 bombing will be projected on the town hall, created by the Le Mura Institution in the context of the “NextAge – Tales and Stories” project, with the contribution of the videomaker Luigi Zannetti. The short film combines moving period images with the testimonies of those who lived through those tragic moments.
Subsequently, in the churchyard of the Cathedral, it will be held a dance show entitled “Ex Voto”, created by the Concorda/Francesca Selva company. The choreography, performed by Luciano Nuzzolese, will be embellished with arias sung by soprano Serena Saccardi and musical compositions by Marco Alberghini.
Citizens are invited to participate.
