This morning an important urban redevelopment project began: the transformation of the “park road” of Via Peppino Impastato.

The announcement was made by the deputy mayor and councilor for public greenery, Sandro Cretella.

The intervention initially involved the restoration of the irrigation system, followed by the planting of the first 26 specimens of Tamarisk, carefully positioned and at regular distances along the street.

Subsequently, we will proceed with the purchase and installation of further trees, as well as other plant species, according to a plan developed internally by the “environmental protection” sector offices, under the guidance of the architect. Elisabetta Dominijanni.

The initiative is part of the municipal administration’s vision aimed at improving the aesthetic appearance of the city and promoting a greater presence of urban greenery. The plant species already present in the area will soon be transferred to other more suitable places, thus contributing to making the city environment more harmonious and livable.

This new phase of redevelopment represents an important step forward in the creation of more welcoming and sustainable public spaces, which will contribute to the well-being and quality of life of citizens.
