The players competing for access to the next SuperLega are Credem Banca Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina and theEmma Villas Siena, with the Marche players who can count on the field factor in Game 1, scheduled for Sunday at 6.00 pm, and in the eventual match. Yuasa Battery, defeated in the Promotion Final by Falconara in 1997/98 and in the A1/A2 Play Off Final by Forlì in 1999/00, has never made a great leap and wants a turning point. The precedents between the teams are tied thanks to two successes each. In the current season the field factor was missing in both matches, with Grottazzolina dominating in Tuscany 3-1 and Siena victorious in the tie-break in the Marche. On Sunday, among the hosts’ ranks, there will be three former Emma Villas players: Michele Fedrizzi, Andrea Marchisio and Andrea Mattei. Play Off Serie A2 Credem Banca – The formula
The top 7 teams at the end of the Serie A2 Regular Season participate. The first place goes directly to the Semi-finals, the teams from 2nd to 7th place compete in the Quarter-finals. The team that wins the Play Off will be promoted to the 2024/2025 Super League. All the Quarter Finals, Semifinals and Finals are played with the formula of 2 games won out of 3. The first match and any play-off are played at the home of the team with the best ranking at the end of the Regular Season.
