Viola are looking for a playoff shot: decisive match against Salerno

Sunday at the “Pentimele” “Neroarancio day” with a single ticket for 8 euros

Viola Basket is looking for the big shot to access the playoffs. On Sunday at 6pm at the “Pentimele” the neroarancio will face Power Salerno in a decisive match for reaching the postseason. The company has announced the “Black Orange Day”: for the occasion, all cards and accreditations will be abolished and the ticket will have a single cost of 8 euros for adults and 4 euros reduced. Entry will be free for under 14s.

The team is coming off two consecutive victories and wants to ride the enthusiasm to gain access to the playoffs. Captain Illia Tyrtyshnyk throws down the gauntlet: “Now everything is in our hands and we want to win. Often, we suffer comebacks at the best moment, but I think it’s also physiological. We listen to the Coach’s advice and directives, we are constantly improving but, I believe, the primary objective was to win and we succeeded.”

Tyrtyshnyk expects a difficult match against Salerno: “Salerno is strong, like all the other teams in this group. It’s played minute by minute, until it’s over. We must forcefully extend the gap to become unreachable and not let ourselves be caught up. In Monopoli, for example, in the first minutes of the fourth period, we suffered a 10-0 partial: we can’t afford it.”

The neroarancio captain makes an appeal to the fans: “From the beginning of the year they have always been present, since the Capo D’Orlando match. We feel this heat, it is our strength. Very often, when we play away, it feels like we are playing “at home”. Unfortunately, we lost too many games at the “PalaCalafiore” but we want to redeem ourselves and conquer the postseason.”

The appointment is for Sunday at 6pm at the “Pentimele”. The neroarancio fans are ready to support their team in this decisive match for the season.
