Painless defeat for Atalanta in the Europa League. In the second leg of the quarter-finals the Nerazzurri lost 1-0 to Liverpool, but thanks to the trio in the first leg at Anfield they progressed to the semi-finals. At the Gewiss Stadium in the first half the Reds immediately broke the deadlock with a penalty from Salah (7′), in the second half Gasperini’s team controlled the match, reaching the next round.
