Youth Orchestra in Savona: music, inclusion and participation for young talents

Savona. A great success for the presentation of the project “Music: Inclusion and Participation” at the Chiabrera-Martini high school in Savona. The initiative, promoted by Zonta Club Savona in collaboration with theSavona Symphony Orchestrareceived great enthusiasm among young people and highlighted the importance of music as a tool for growth and education.

An orchestra for everyone. The project, inspired by the successful El Sistema model, aims to create a youth orchestra open to all children aged 6 to 18, without distinction of origin or social background. Music thus becomes a universal language that unites and breaks down barriers, offering young people a unique opportunity to express their talent and develop valuable life skills.

Training and scholarships. In addition to the creation of the orchestra, the project also includes the creation of musical workshops and training courses held by professional musicians. Scholarships will also be awarded to young talents who demonstrate a particular aptitude for music.

A commitment to the future. «We are happy with the great success of this initiative“, he has declared Claudio Gilio, president of the Savona Symphony Orchestra and artistic director of the project. «Music is a powerful tool for inclusion and participation, and we firmly believe in its educational value. Thanks to the support of the Zonta Club Savona, the Liguria Region and the De Mari Foundation, we will be able to give the young people of Savona a unique opportunity for growth and training».

A message of hope. The project presentation evening ended with a concert by the violinist Francesco Pollero, former student and now teacher of the Savona Music Academy. His music moved the audience and represented a message of hope for the future of the young people of Savona.
