The III “Metropolitan Roads” Directorate of the Metropolitan City of Messina has ordered the temporary closure to transit and the parking ban, from km. 21+000 per km. 21+350, along the provincial road 12 of Roccafiorita. The ban will take effect from 9.00 pm on 22 April to 9.00 am on 23 April 2024. The ordinance was issued to allow, in absolute safety, the execution of the demolition works of span no. 13 and pile no. 12, in the territory of the Municipality of S. Alessio Siculo, as part of the reconstruction works of the Agrò bridge, located at km. 35+100 of the state road 114 “Orientale Sicula”.
The alternative road system, consisting of the temporary track in the bed of the Agrò torrent, will be signaled by specific vertical signs placed by the company carrying out the works. Control of compliance with the provisions is entrusted to the bodies of the Metropolitan Police, Municipal Police and all other bodies in accordance with current legislation.
