The shots on the metro and at Rho Fiera
Rho – For Rho and the city of Milan it is a busy day and a lot of chaos. and so the criminals find fertile ground to carry out their attacks. Already in recent days the police commissioner Petronzi has arranged intensified checks at the most frequented points. The state police arrested five Romanian citizens aged 43, 48, 28, 27 and 23, with police records, for pickpocketing committed in the center area and at the Rho Fair.
One was blocked at the Buonarroti stop of metro line 1. He was trying to walk away after stolen an elderly man’s wallet. Two other Romanians were arrested at the Rho Fair on charges of aggravated theft in competition: a 66-year-old man who was having lunch was robbed of the wallet which was in the jacket placed on a chair. However, the officers witnessed the scene and intervened and recovered the cash. One of the two arrested had already been arrested for the same crime in 2019, again at the Rho Fair during the last edition of the Salone del Mobile before the pandemic. In the end, the theft against the Chinese tourist in Corso Matteotti, in the center of Milan. Two of them took her cell phone but were stopped immediately afterwards by the police.
