There are 160 parents, girls and boys, teachers who participated in the Imola Verde Pedalata, organized on Saturday 13 April as part of the Cambiamo Rotta Project.

The group, accompanied by the IC7 Director Rossana Neri, a representative of the Municipality, and guided by the instructors of the Giocathlon Association with the collaboration of the CGAM, started from the square in front of the primary and lower secondary schools of the IC7 in via Vivaldi and walked 7.5km on the city cycle paths crossing the green areas and new urban forests.

The project, after two years of activity with the IC5, has expanded this year to also involve the IC7 and is divided into activities to start driving and riding a bicycle with lessons dedicated to the 3rd, 4th, 5th ° classes of primary school and the 1st classes of secondary school, in the activation of two new bike bus lines and in events involving families and schools.

“Let’s change course” is the project that promotes active mobility on home-school routes, desired and implemented by the Municipality of Imola and the CEAS – Imola Sustainability Education Center in collaboration with the Comprehensive Institutes 5 and 7, Arpae – Res (Network of sustainability education of Emilia Romagna), AUSL Imola, Local Police, Giocathlon Association, Blue Area Mobility sector, Bianca Bizzi Primary Association, Ponticelli Primary Association, Orsini Association, Sante Zennaro Association and Rodari Primary Association. The initiative is part of the “Mobilityamoci 2.0” project of the Emilia Romagna Region
