In December 2023 the Neapolitan midfielder celebrated his hundred appearances with the Audace Cerignola shirt. Together with Luca Russo, also of Neapolitan origin, he is one of the veterans of the Ofantine team.
Mattia was also one of the protagonists of the historic promotion of the Gialloblù to Serie C. The fans will not forget his winning goal scored against Bitonto, which confirmed Cerignola’s mathematical promotion to professional football.
Speaking of his father, in an interview given to CerignolaViva, Mattia declared: “I listen to my father’s advice. Simone Tascone, born in 1997, joined Foggia in January 2024. He is also a skilled midfielder: in his career he has made 206 appearances and 17 goals. He will remain in Foggia until June 2026.
