“On 16 April, Sei Toscana received the operators of the Guardia di Finanza at its headquarters for activities related to the investigations conducted by the provincial command of Reggio Emilia which led to the issuing of a notice of investigation against two managers of the company”
It was the company itself, with a note, that spread the news. The Emilian yellow flames would have arrived in Siena, at the headquarters in via Simone Martini, and would have carried out some investigations. The guarantee information would therefore have been highlighted against the two people.
“The company and the people involved, in the belief that they have always acted in compliance with the law, immediately made themselves available to the investigative bodies and calmly await the conclusion of the investigations, placing the utmost trust in the judiciary. Sei Toscana reiterates that the matter it does not interfere with the ordinariness of the company’s activities and, therefore, with the quality of the services provided to citizens”.
The financiers carried out the investigation as part of a larger operation called Leonida and which started from an investigation by the Reggio Emilia Prosecutor’s Office which led to an arrest, 14 suspects and 26 searches in various Italian cities. The investigators are targeting alleged irregularities in the direct awarding of public contracts, exclusively, to the Ecologia Soluzioni Ambiente company operating in the waste disposal sector. Operation ‘Leonida’ began at dawn yesterday, in the provinces of Reggio Emilia, Parma, Verona, Brescia, Lucca, Livorno, Sassari, Rome and Siena. On the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Reggio Emilia, the Fiamme Gialle carried out five precautionary measures (one arrest and four interdictions), three of which were aimed at public officials.
Six Tuscany would not be involved only in a very marginal way in the investigation.
