Intrusion of thieves between last Monday and Tuesday at the headquarters of “Women at the Centre” anti-violence center in Aprilia, in the premises of the CulturAprilia hub, on Pontina. The Carabinieri of the Territorial Department are dealing with the case. The criminals broke into the centre, forcing a French window, and took away a desktop computer and a coffee machine from the offices.

The loot is small; What is more significant is the extent of the damage that will now have to be repaired in order to allow the anti-violence centre, managed by the Lilith Women’s Center of Latina, to resume its activities at full speed. Unfortunately the premises are not equipped with cameras: therefore there are no images useful for the investigations. The thieves, however, may have been scared away by the alarm that went off.

The Lilith Women’s Center in Latina has filed a formal complaint with the Carabinieri. The discovery of the theft was made yesterday afternoon. The Municipality of Aprilia, informed of the facts, was asked to repair the damage which, at the moment, has forced the volunteers to empty the Aprilia headquarters and transport all sensitive data to the Latina headquarters.
