Next Friday 19 April, at 11.30, in the Aula Magna of the headquarters in via Acrone 12, on “Politi” Scientific and Human Sciences High School in Agrigento promotes a conference on Giacomo Leopardi, during which the professors’ book will be presented Stefano Certa and Angela Marchica (in the photo) by title “Leopardi and his world. To get to know a soul, the man, his cities, his friends, his loves”: a work focused on the little-known aspects of the life of the great poet from Recanati, accompanied by over 220 images and photographs, as well as unpublished documents, which highlight the human aspect of Leopardi in the various phases of his life.

One will also be set up in the Aula Magna starting from Thursday 18 April exhibition of unpublished and rare Leopardi documents divided into seven sections: Leopardi’s portraits, family members, friends, loves, the houses in which the poet lived, his drawings, documents such as the unobtainable medical certificate with the confirmation of death and other rare certificates among including that of death. The material, including a plaster copy of the death mask, will be provided by professors Stefano Certa and Angela Marchica.
