Rometta generation. This is the name of the civic coalition born from the meeting of various personalities and professionals from Rome.

After a discussion with various groups, a new political group was formed, highlighting the commitment of a different generation as a primary value.

Many political groups, associations and citizens have come together “with the common aim of putting an end to the dualism which, for over thirty years, has influenced the political and administrative choices of the Tyrrhenian centre”.

Promoters of the aggregation, in addition to the Erimata Association, with lawyers Antonio Barbera and Giusy Sorrenti at the forefront; Dr. Melania Messina, Municipal Secretary and her group, including Dr. Roberta Faustini, city coordinator of Azzurro Donna “vicina to the Hon. Bernadette Grasso; Dr. Antonella Bertino; the movement “Rometta Sei Tu” with Peppe Rizzo and President Pasquale Grillo; Lillo Sorrenti, local exponent of the M5S, close to Senator Barbara Floridia, together with Dr. Giuseppe Formica, Giuseppe Saiya, point of reference for the Hon. Pippo Laccoto, and some of the local political leaders.

“The entire coalition – we read in a note – has decided to propose Melania Messina’s candidacy for Mayor to the people of Rome, for a change of pace and a different point of view in the management of political-administrative activity with competence, commitment and dedication ”.

In the next few days, the programmatic points that will constitute the political-administrative manifesto that the team aims to propose and implement with the consent of the citizens will be illustrated to citizens.

“I am proud of the results achieved during my years of political-administrative commitment – ​​declares Messina. Now the time has come to recreate that reforming spirit that positively marked the first years of my experience in the field. I am happy to have, among others, friends next to me who shared the enthusiasm and work of those years and I am ready to bet on this project with the new friends who have joined us. Rometta is no longer satisfied!”.

Melania Messina, 41 years old, began her political experience in 2014 in the “Vivi Rometta” Association, covering, over the years, the position of Councilor and Deputy Mayor, until 2021, currently holding the position of municipal councilor.
