Monday 22 April 2024 at 5.30 pm, in the Cineforum room of the Municipal LibraryLegambiente Trani, in collaboration with the Bene Comune association, organizes a forum entitled “The health of trees, Health from trees – Forum on landscaping and public health”.
With the partnership of the Municipality of Trani, the forum aims to be a space for comparison, in-depth analysis and discussion on urban greenery and its link with public health, using the method of scientific environmentalism and an always proactive approach for the protection of life in city, a space for discussion between citizens, associations, administration and experts in arboriculture and planning aimed at sustainability.
Numerous national and international studies agree on the idea that the presence and accessibility of green spaces are fundamental requirements for healthy, sustainable and inclusive cities. Living near green spaces reduces health problems and improves your physical and mental state.
The techniques of safeguarding, care and maintenance of ornamental trees in the city, in private gardens and the methodologies of species selection will be explored in depth, as well as the potential, peculiarities and importance of the regulation of urban greenery and the organic planning of the city for a sustainable future.
The meeting is aimed at all citizens and aims to focus on green management, felling and planting and to provide fundamental information for the recognition of the correctness of public and private green management interventions, to protect natural areas, our city and its safety.
