L’AQUILA – Marilena Rossi, first of the non-elected on the Brothers of Italy list and provincial coordinator of Meloni’s party, also joins the regional council. The access to the Assizes of 5 new councilors, including Rossi, was a topic at the center of the work of the ‘Election Board’ made up, in fact, of the same members of the Conference of Group Leaders, who this morning also voted for identify the names of the candidates in the latest regional elections who will replace the Councilors initially elected but then appointed councillors.
In addition to Rossi (who will take over due to the entry of Umberto D’Annuntiis into the council) they join the council Carla Mannetti for the League (L’Aquila district) in place of Emanuele Imprudente; Maria Assunta Rossi for Fratelli d’Italia (L’Aquila district), in place of Mario Quaglieri; Antonietta La Porta for Forza Italia (L’Aquila district), in place of Roberto Santangelo; Francesco Prospero for Fratelli d’Italia (Chieti district), in place of Tiziana Magnacca.
The opposition group leaders abstained from the vote in the case of identifying the candidate Maria Assunta Rossi, who however obtained the majority of votes in favour. Tomorrow, during the Bureau, the replacement Councilors will be proclaimed. It will then be at the Regional Council on April 23rd that the acknowledgment of the elected representatives will be confirmed. The 5 new councilors will officially take office the day after the meeting.
