Father and son were injured this morning in the Milan area due to the collapse of a construction structure which collapsed due to the strong winds raging in the province.

It happened around 12 in a private building in via dei Martiri Palestiniani in Cinisello Balsamo (Milan). According to what was reported by 118, part of a structure under renovation would have detached from the roof, falling into the internal courtyard where four people were. Two condominium owners, father and son, were hit. The first, aged 66, escaped with abrasions but the second, aged 28, was hit head-on and suffered serious trauma. Torn by the wind, they fell into the internal courtyard where four people were at the time, two of whom managed to move and take shelter in time and were unharmed.

The 28-year-old instead suffered serious head and facial trauma and was hospitalized in Monza. His father was not hit, but was injured while trying to free his son. He was taken to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza due to a back and leg injury.
