Appointment with “Chenamos in carrela” to promote the agri-food excellence of the local tradition.

The event will be held in Villanova Monteleone, precisely in Monte Minerva on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April. The event, which has now become tradition, is organized by the Pro Loco of Villanova Monteleone and consists of promoting local excellence. This weekend the protagonists will be herbs and their uses, with the participation of two industry experts such as Giampaolo Demartis and the chef Fabio Zago, under the supervision and coordination of the food and wine expert Tommaso Sussarello.

Saturday 20 Aprilthe meeting with the participants will be held at 15 to the Monte Minerva Environmental Education and Sustainability Center. Free guided tours will be offered to the domus de janas, the Rose Garden and the Biodiversity Garden continuing with the Griffon Corner and the Rural District Corner. At 5pm we will get to the heart of the event inside the Minerva Innwith Gianpaolo Demartis which will introduce the laboratory dedicated to “Rrecognition of herbs and the Sardinian popular pharmacopoeia”.

From 7pmthe Pro Loco of Villanova will organize a small convivial meeting.

Sunday 21 Aprilthe meeting at Locanda Monte Minerva is expected at 10 am for a new laboratory and, under the guidance of Gianpaolo Demartisan excursion will be held in the open countryside in which it will be possible to collect edible herbs in the field.

For those who do not intend to participate in the laboratory, in the same hours, the CEAS organizes free guided tours of the domus de janas, the Rose Garden, the Biodiversity Garden and the corners of the Grifone and the Rural District.

At 12 Tommaso Sussarello will dialogue with Fabio Zago who will exhibit, with a live performance, the best uses of natural herbs in the kitchen. At 1pmin the rooms of Inn will be served (with additional ticket) a buffet lunch themed and based on wild herbs.

The double appointment is made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Municipality of Villanova Monteleonethe regional agency Forestasthe association Sardinia Nature and the Minerva Inn.
