The Council Hall of the Bar Association in Catanzaro hosted the training initiative promoted by the Catanzaro section of the “Forensic Movement” on the topic “Migration phenomenon between climate change and demographic asphyxiation. Hopefully this afternoon is only the first of the events that will raise awareness of the problems of the national territory, and in particular our Region, on the migration factor on multiple fronts. Because if on the one hand we can analyze the data that underlines the movements of our young people in other countries, on the other we find ourselves faced with the statistics of migratory flows arriving in our cities: the first reiterates the ever decreasing number of the workforce , in the other case the circumstance not only of welcoming in a dignified way those seeking refuge from active war zones, but above all being able to create an insertion program capable of then creating a development system capable of avoiding the problems of not having a work or a fixed abode, become dangerous for our communities, as underlined by the lawyer Pollinzi recalling the tragedy of Steccato di Cutro.

It is certainly not easy to be able to calculate one by one the reasons for the clandestine entries of the refugees who land in our cities, which is precisely why the Forense Movement would like to introduce this initiative into the common attention of our departments. As the lawyer Platì states, the data speaks clearly, focusing on what the migratory phenomenon actually is, a phenomenon which on a historical level cannot be said to be new but which, given the various current technological possibilities, can be managed without delay. Then he spoke about the causes of the movements and that it is not actually easy to protect those who enter our country illegally from those who are specifically looking for similar subjects to lure them and involve them in illegal activities. Precisely for this reason the need for an action plan. In fact, the commitment of the initiatives promoted by the Forensic Movement, the Catanzaro MF Section, is to address the issue of the migratory phenomenon starting from the so-called push factors, which also include climate change and natural disasters, passing through the risks, without neglecting the organizational and reception processes and “docking” the opportunities that may arise from them, to the detriment of the widespread idea of ​​an ongoing or planned invasion.
