Specifically, we go from 33.231 million in 2022 to 29.939 in 2023. The reduction – he further underlines – therefore amounts to 3.292 million euros. In light of all this, saying that the Municipality will have to face a new deficit of 7 million euros seems to me to be downright lunar, which I hope can be traced back to inexact knowledge of the data and not to the desire to engage in low political force in electoral sauce. Likewise – he continues – it is absolutely not true, as some opponents claim, that the next mayor will find himself with empty coffers, even for the August holiday. The fund has a strongly positive balance, demonstrating the provisions made for the recovery, and furthermore the budget allocation for 2024 relating to the Culture Mission alone is more than 1.5 million euros”, concludes Cuzzola.
