Brescia, from 19 April to 28 June 2024 the music and art festival “Labadabajazz!”

Brescia. It will be held from Friday 19 April to Friday 28 June “Labadabajazz!”an event promoted by LABA Academy of Fine ArtsBrescia.
The event, sponsored by Municipality of Brescia, is organized in synergy with theUniversity of BresciaThe Conservatory Luca Marenzio and the Veronica Gambara High School.
The journey starts again, the pace accelerates, the route changes but not the substance: after the surprising debut of the first edition, in conjunction with Bergamo-Brescia Capital of Culture, the “Labadabajazz!” is officially ready to experience a “second coming” that promises to be even more exciting, ambitious and musically reckless.

In the sign of continuity with the eclectic path undertaken, but at the same time with the desire to go further, to dare and experiment, through music, art and the art of encounter: a series ofConvivial interludes”as the title suggests not surprisingly, during which the Academy of Fine Arts LABA it will be transformed into a softly colored club in which some of the most representative musicians of the national and international jazz scene will perform, for a long polyrhythmic adventure between music, words and extemporaneous suggestions. Opening the doors – and not only in a figurative sense – to new forms of enjoyment and meeting: for students, but also for the “external” public and for the city.
Visionary project, of Dadaist inspiration, “Labadabajazz!” underlies a multiplicity of sounds, melodies and polyphonic-multifaceted experiences that will be contextualized in unexpected spaces: from the LABA venues in via Don Vender and via Privata De Vitalis, which will host most of the concerts on the bill (six in total), this event year will in fact also inhabit other symbolic places of the city, thanks to the synergy with the Municipality of Brescia, which has given its patronage, the University of Brescia, the Luca Marenzio Conservatory and the Veronica Gambara High School, entities with which they have been equally activate collaborations and contaminations.
