There will be 26 singers representing as many nations who will participate in the World Final from the 15th edition Of sanremoJunior – the international competition for singers aged 6 to 15 – scheduled for Wednesday 17 April at Ariston Theatre.
After various selections in European and non-European countries, competing flowers will arrive in the city from Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, France, Georgia, Greece, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, USA and Uzbekistan.
He will represent Italy Gaia Deianaa 15 year old from Quartu Sant’Elena (Cagliari), which won the National Final held last March.
The very young singers will perform live as usual, accompanied by sanremoJunior Orchestra, composed of 32 elements and directed by Maestro Mario Natale. The winner will be decided by a qualified jury, chaired by the singer and author Franco Fasano.
The following day, however, the 25th edition of the event will begin GEF – the World Festival of Creativity in Schools – reserved for National and International Finalist schools and associations, who will perform in the fields of Music/Singing, Musical, Dance/Gymnastics, Fashion, Theatre, Cinema and Painting, in front of their respective Juries.
Thursday evening (Ariston Theatre) will be dedicated to Music/Singing, Musicals, Dance/Gymnastics and Fashion; on Friday morning and afternoon (Casino Theater) it will be the turn of Theater and Cinema, with entry reserved for professionals only; Friday evening (Ariston Theatre) will be completely dedicated to music. On Saturday evening – again at the Ariston, during the Final Show for the awarding of the prizes – the winners of Music/Singing, Dance/Gymnastics, Musical and Fashion will perform, as well as some guests, including the winner of sanremoSenior 2023.
During the evening the winners will also be awarded prizes Eurotheaterof the International School Film Festival and of Educ-Arte/Prix Modiglianiwithout forgetting the initiative “The child in the hospital”.
The evening will also be characterized by the delivery of the Global Education Award (to Monsignor Umberto Toffani), GEF Music Award (to the Kazakh violinist Aiman Mussakhajayeva), GEF New Generation Award (to the singer and actress Zoe Nochi) and then the Grand Prix sanremoJunior to the overall winner; The Prix Committee sanremoJunior, assigned by the sanremoJunior Committee; The Student Award, awarded by over 120 students present in the room; The Prize of the “Artemis Alice Viganò” Orchestraassigned by the members of the sanremoJunior Orchestra.
Another unmissable event on Saturday afternoon (weather permitting) will be the parade in the streets of the city centre, in which students, teachers and chaperones from the participating schools of the 25th GEF and the competitors of the 15th will take part. sanremoJunior.
