Mazara, Tourist Tax, Federalberghi requests extension of the registration program • Front Page

Regarding the tourist tax, the managers of Federalberghi Mazara and Trapani, Francesco Cucchiara and Antonio Marino, have written to the mayor of the city of Mazara del Vallo, Salvatore Quinci, and for information to the responsible municipal official, Dr. Vitalba Giuseppina Licari. Here is what it reads:

“Egr. Mr. Mayor, in reference to the meeting held last March 28th at the Civic Center, regarding the presentation of the Tourist Tax Portal which will allow the managers of the accommodation facilities to compile the data relating to guest attendance on a monthly basis and to calculate the tourist tax, we would like to point out that, although we are in favor of the use of this new procedure,
immediate adoption of this new program is causing some problems which we will illustrate below. Not everyone is familiar with operating an online program, so much so that to access you need to have the spid, so first of all we ask you to publish the video of the meeting on March 28th on the portal site https:/ /mazaradelvallo.comune- online.it/ (as already promised by the operator present at the meeting). To gain access, the facilities are requesting registration on the aforementioned portal, so we are also publicizing it, but it will still take some time. If we then think that guest data must be entered daily, to use this procedure it will be necessary to enter the data already in the first days of April from 1° March, so it would even be with retroactive effect!
