TRIESTE – Trains delayed. Slowed circulation. Various inconveniences have been occurring for more than an hour on the Venice – Trieste railway line. According to the first information released by the Trenitalia website, the cause would be due to the presence of unauthorized people near the line in Trieste. The police intervened on site.

The inconveniences for those traveling on the Venice – Trieste railway line began shortly after 2.35pm with the first reports of possible cancellations and route limitations by some regional trains. In the meantime, Regional 17342 of 2.28pm Trieste Udine via Gorizia has been cancelled. 40 minute delay for train 3567 arriving from Venice, train 3880 has a 30 minute difference on the timetable. The 3562 departed with a 20 minute delay, the same delay as the Regional train 16617. Travelers traveling on this line were advised, if it was necessary to travel, to use alternative means, such as Tpl Fvg buses.
