“Investigations? They don’t concern the Region. M5s? Coalition could have resisted” (PHOTO GALLERY)

Foggia. In an interview in Foggia, Michele Emiliano, Governor of Puglia, responded to questions from L’Immediato regarding recent judicial investigations, stating that the regional council is not involved in the ongoing events. He specified that this also applies to the Bari council.

Emiliano commented on the ongoing investigations, declaring that these are facts dating back to the period between 2019 and 2021, which are receiving considerable media attention. He highlighted the problem of the shortage of magistrates in Puglia, underlining that some precautionary measures were carried out long after they were requested. Despite this, she expressed appreciation for the work done by the judiciary.

On the issue of the exit of the members of the 5 Star Movement from the executive, Emiliano observed that, in his opinion, the coalition still had a reason to exist. However, he recognized the need to replace people within the junta. He underlined his limitations in choosing new councillors, having to select them from the thirty elected members of the majority, rather than being able to choose from the entire population, a task which he defined as rather complex.

Emiliano attended the inauguration of the new headquarters of the ‘Continuity of Care’ former Medical Guard of Foggia. The banner welcomes President Emiliano, who inaugurates the new headquarters of the Continuity of Care, former medical guard, in Foggia. Continuity of Care will be active on the ground floor of the building, former Inam, of the district services in the central Piazza Libertà.
