The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Melonivisited this afternoon at Vinitaly the “Abruzzo-Space”pavilion 12. It was welcomed by the President Marcus Marsilio and the Vice President Emanuele Imprudente. The Abruzzo wine world has chosen to invest in quality, it is a positive job that is bearing good fruit. Some vines that were previously little known or were not part of the Abruzzo tradition such as white wines or bubbles are emerging on the international market. Today we have a broader offer, we cannot just focus on Montepulciano or Trebbiano. Here at Vinitaly we have, for example, the participation of almost one hundred wineries present with important labels. Until the 1970s, Abruzzo wines had little presence on the market, today the culture has changed, there is more communication and attention and the results are there for all to see”. After the visit of the President of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Agriculture also spoke at the Abruzzo Space Francesco Lollobrigida.
