Guided tours of the Alfieri bell tower with Fai Novara

After the success of the month of March for the climbs to the bell tower of the cathedral, the Fai Novara delegation offers other guided visits to the bell tower of the basilica of San Gaudenzio next to the Antonelliana dome. Created by Benedetto Alfieri, this bell tower was built to become the tower of Novara, a symbol for the city throughout the eighteenth century. Its structure, inspired by Viennese models, is 92 meters high, making the building still today one of the tallest bell towers in Italy, whose average is between 50 and 60 metres.

An architectural jewel, usually inaccessible to the public, from which it is possible to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view and see the Dome from another point of view.

The bell tower will be open to visitors Sunday 21 April And Sunday 28 April with visiting shifts every half hour starting from 14. To participate (booking is strongly recommended), the minimum suggested contribution and of 15 euroswhile for FAI members of 10 euros: the entire proceeds will be donated to the Italian Environment Fund.
