The Don Matteo fiction is at the starting line. A new chapter of a very long adventure is coming, which however does not know the wear of time.

Once upon a time there were scripted novels, often miniature television masterpieces, in black and white, which introduced tens of millions of Italians to the great classics of Italian and world literature. When the January 7, 2000 the first episode was aired, not everyone guessed that that series would have written entire pages of Rai’s history. Today, twenty-three years later and after 13 highly successful series, we are going to tell you about series number 14 which is about to start. So many series that have followed one another over more than twenty years, which have seen painful farewells and happy returns on the set. Even the 14th chapter of this extraordinary adventure will present the same script, with some painful farewells compensated for by important entrances. There have been two characters who have strongly characterized the latest series of fiction Don Matteo. It’s still far from official, but it’s not long before filming begins Don Matthew 14 and the initial drafts are increasingly becoming concrete rumors. Many of which lead to a prestigious name, that of Gianmarco Saurino.
