REGGIO EMILIA – RED WOODPECKER AND MARABOU. At midnight, the New Year’s Eve party animates Piazza della Vittoria: “History of dance with Marabù and Picchio Rosso”, a party to dance through the history of international music and the sounds that have entertained generations of people. All accompanied by the engaging choreography of the dancers who, for the evening, will take turns on stage and by themed videos projected on the giant screens.
BOLOGNA – BURNING OF THE OLD MAN. In Bologna, New Year’s Eve is not complete without the traditional bonfire of the Vecchione: an artistic sculpture made of wood and reused materials which, at the stroke of midnight, burns in Piazza Maggiore to bid farewell to the past year and wish for a better future. The event starts at 10pm, with music and entertainment.
FERRARA – CASTLE FIRE. Ferrara welcomes 2026 with its symbolic event: New Year’s Eve at the Estense Castle. Now in its 26th edition, the famous Castle Fire will illuminate New Year’s Eve with a unique pyromusical show in Italy, including fireworks and epic music. Piazza Castello comes alive with Radio Bruno, the band About That Night and the countdown at 11.55pm, followed by the Danceland party.
RIMINI – LISCIO STREET PARADE. After the preview on 29 and 30 December with concerts by Edoardo Bennato and Francesca Michielin, the winter version of the Liscio Street Parade debuts on New Year’s Eve: on 31 December Piazzale Kennedy in Rimini becomes the capital of Romagna folklore. After the summer sold out, the “New Year Edition” lights up New Year’s Eve with traditional music and dance, including live orchestras, dance schools, disco DJs and the Gen Z of ballroom dancing. On stage Roberta Cappelletti with her orchestra, Santa Balera and Alluvionati del Liscio, toasted to the rhythm of waltzes, mazurkas and polkas. Homage to Renzo Arbore and presentation of the song “Terra Amata Terra Mia”.
RICCIONE – ROMANTIC DISCO. The party starts already on December 30th with the concert of The Kolors in Piazzale Ceccarini. On the 31st, the same space will be transformed into a huge dancefloor with the Discoteca Romantica format, which will revive hits from the 1980s to today
CATTOLICA – RADIO SHOW E DJ SET. In Cattolica, from 6pm on the 31st until 2am, New Year’s Eve will be animated by a radio show and DJ set broadcast with Radio Bruno, Radio Sabbia and Radio Gamma
BELLARIA IGEA MARINA – WIDESPREAD NEW YEAR’S EVE. In Bellaria-Igea Marina the New Year’s Eve will offer five stages along Viale P. Guidi, with music for all tastes. The party will continue on January 1st with a concert by Queentet, a Queen tribute band.
CERVIA – COSMIC JOURNEY. Magical atmosphere also in Cervia, where the Porto Canale will host Viaggio Cosmico: aerial dance, stilt walkers and a luminous solar system that will come to life between the notes of a DJ set from 11pm. In Piazza Garibaldi, the Brillanti Sparsi will accompany the countdown
CESENATICO – NEW YEAR’S EVE ON THE PORT. Cesenatico offers the traditional New Year’s Eve on the Port: from 10.30pm in Piazza Ciceruacchio, the Moka Club will make the public dance until midnight, followed by the Radio Studio Delta DJ set to transform the square into a large dance floor.
CESENA – JOE DI BUTTO. From 10pm on Wednesday 31 December the Radio Studio Delta DJ set with Jurymaru, Sandro Base, Manilo and Cleto will warm up the atmosphere while waiting for 11pm when the Joe di Brutto band will take to the stage located on the fourth side of Piazza del Popolo for a mind-boggling discomusical. Toast at midnight and then more music until 2am.
FORLI – DJ SET BY FABRIZIO FERRARI. Piazza Saffi is preparing to experience the atmosphere of New Year’s Eve and greet 2025 with the energy and fun of the famous speaker and DJ of RTL 102.5, Fabrizio Ferrari, accompanied by his dancers and an exceptional choreography designed to make the entire historic center go wild.
RAVENNA – CHRISTMAS SOUL E DJ LELLI. In Piazza del Popolo, at 11pm, great “Christmas Soul” concert: The square will light up with the Soul of Gospel Revue by God’s Angels, led by Knagui, an artist from Pennsylvania and student of the legendary Twinkie Clark. The concert will mix gospel, soul, funk and jazz, transforming the square into a great collective celebration. Following, DJ Lelli, pioneer of Italian funk, with “Superfunkexperience” will lead the audience on a magnetic journey through the most powerful grooves in the history of funk, transforming Piazza del Popolo into a large open-air dance floor.
