The plot of the series
In the Sandokan series, born from an idea by Luca Bernabei, viewers will witness the origins of the beloved character. In the enchanting scenery of Borneo, Sandokan lives surrounded by tribes, fights for himself and his pirate crew including his friend Yanez. His life changes when he meets Marianna, daughter of the British consul of Labuan. Theirs is a thwarted love. Her noble origins clash with his adventurous spirit. Sandokan then discovers that he is the son of an ancient warrior king and his life changes. He can rely on Marianna and Yanez, while the terrible Lord Brooke hunts him.
