Anyone passing by chance in Piazza San Silvestro suddenly found themselves catapulted into the 90s
It wasn’t a Monday like the others yesterday. It was the first day that Italian viewers experienced orphans Fiorello and the whole team of “Long live Rai2” which closed its doors on May 10th with a big party together with Amadeus, Ultimo and Jovanotti. But Fiorello wanted to give the Roman public a welcome surprise. Anyone passing by chance in Piazza San Silvestro suddenly found themselves catapulted into the 90s. A stage, a television with the words of the songs on it and there you go in a second reproduced the atmosphere of “Karaoke”. These were the years of Fiorello’s greatest popularity who, with his ponytail and his irony, won over thousands of people in the square and on television.
And here he is, 30 years later, Fiorello on that stage singing with some lucky fan in the audience until he appears Stash by The Kolors. And here’s the mystery revealed: everyone found themselves on the set of the band’s new video “Karma”.
“Today we are all shooting the new Karma video together in Piazza San Silvestro in Rome – Stash announced on Instagram – If you would like to come and sing a few songs with us and be part of our video clip, we are waiting for you”. Then the wonderful surprise of finding ourselves all together with Fiorello who broke, momentarily, the oath of never getting up from the sofa again, in the name of music.
