Debuts in prime time on Rai 1 tonight, Friday 10 May 2024the new talent show hosted by Milly Carlucci: The Talent Catcher. For five weeks starting today, live from the Rai Auditorium of the Foro Italico, the presenter will lead us to discover many talents, which will have to be evaluated quickly and with simple instinct by five talent scouts. The latter will in turn be judged on their choices by a jury.

In The Talent Catcher, talent will be the true protagonist. Artists from all over the world will perform in the hope of winning over one of the “talent catchers”, called to make the best choice with very little time available. Singers, magicians, special artists, acrobats: there will be many skills brought to the stage. Some are already working with their talent, while others are still looking for their place in the entertainment world.
Who are talent scouts and what do they do

There are five talent catchers called by Milly Carlucci. Teo Mammuccari, Francesco PaolantoniMara Maionchi, Sabrina Salerno and Wanda Nara will have to “catch” the best talent, who is also similar to each of them. They have very little time, however: they can only view the first 15 seconds of the performance. To win the artist they have a gavel at their disposal, like that of auctioneers. How will they choose? With intuition, speed, experience and even a pinch of luck.
Each talent caught will then have to be “promoted” by the talent scout who chose it, so as to convince the public and the jury to give their vote. Viewers will be able to vote for their favorite Talent Catcher right from the start on social account of the show (X, Facebook, Instagram).

The jury will have a fundamental role, together with the spectators, in electing the best talent scout of the evening. The jurors will be able to give a score from zero to ten for the ability to choose almost blindly and promote talent, but they will also evaluate artistic affinity. The jury is made up of President Simona Ventura, queen of talent, from Flavio Insinna (already sworn to Masked Singer) and from Francesco Facchinettiwho is a talent scout by profession.

The program includes two heats. In the first, the talent scouts will have to make their choices, while in the second, after the jury’s provisional ranking, each talent catcher will be able to make a change in the dark of a talent. It will be up to him to choose whether to confirm the choice made or continue with another competitor.
Each episode will be won by the talent scout who has obtained the highest vote, adding those of the jury and the public. The winner will bring her talent to the final episodebroadcast in prime time on Rai 1 next Saturday 8 June 2024. She will also have to perform with him on that occasion.
